Brick+Mortar is a funky new space in George St, just behind Norwood Town Hall. There’s a café with lots of yummy treats, as well as a constantly changing selection of beautiful products in the capsule stores and exhibitions. There’s also a space where all manner of workshops are held, including mine on DSLR and smartphone photography.
The owner, Elizabeth, is passionate about the macro and small businesses so important to SA’s economy. She provides a place for artists to show their work and be part of a supportive community. Her warm and bubbly personality is just what’s needed!
I had a great time photographing artists at work, the capsule stores full of treasures, and the goodies from the café, as well as taking portraits of the people working there.
Keep an eye on http://www.brickandmortarcreative.com.au for details of my photography workshops and the current list of artists.
